Open draincock daily at bottom
Pump
of tank receiver tank and drain
out accumulated water resulting
draincock open only as long as
a solid stream of water runs,
then close tightly.
Clean the air intake filters
weekly.
Periodically, the V-belt should
be adjusted so that a firm down-
ward pressure at the middle of
the span will cause a defection
of one-half to three-fourths
inch.

Check for loose mounting bolts.
Check intake filters for ob-
structions.
Listen for rattles, knocks,
squeaks, or hums that may
indicate trouble in air com-
pressor or motor.
Observe motor for indication
of overheating and smoke.
