D-7. Welding Techniques.
For MIG welding, use Miller Model 10A, or equivalent, set at 30.5 open circuit volts and 5-inches (14.0 cm)
feed with inch (0.80 mm) diameter wire. When electric arc welding, use inch (2.4 mm) AWS7018 rods per
MIL-E-2200/1. Use techniques described in FM 43-2 and TM 9-237. Refer to Figure D-13 for examples< of fillet
and plug welding of underbody caps.
