Intermediate--range planetary carrier assembly
removed (WP 0065 00)
REMOVAL
NOTE
If repairing the XT--1410--4 transmission, perform Removal steps 1and 3. If repairing the
XT--1410--5A perform Removal steps 2 and 3.
1. Remove eight self--locking bolts (1) from torque converter turbine shaft assembly (2). Discard self--locking bolts.
2. Working through slots in intermediate--range sun gear (3), remove snap ring (4) from groove in low--range
planetary carrier. Discard snap ring.
3. Remove torque converter turbine shaft assembly (2) and parts attached as a unit.
